As far as starts to the season go, it's hard to imagine a worse four-game run for a team that's supposed to be Cup contenders. Oilers fans were understandably pissed off even though it's only been four games, and the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio was all about trying to figure this mess out.

Kicking off the Friday episode of ONR, we started the podcast with a delicious debate about what made us the angriest about last night's loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. Whether it was mistakes, a lack of effort, or the inability to get a key save when you needed it, there was a laundry list of issues as to why the Oilers lost last night in Philadelphia, and it felt like we missed plenty of them. As you'll hear, this is one of the spiciest episodes of the podcast that we've had in quite some time, which is nowhere near what we expected before the season began. After losing to the Flyers, it wasn't exactly surprising to see Jay Woodcroft change up his line combinations, but the way he put these new trios together is puzzling, to say the least. Talking about the lines led us to put our own combos together as we tried to figure out how the Oilers could climb out of this hole they were digging for themselves. Lastly, we wrapped up the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another round of Ask the Idiots, Kennedy's quote game, and Hot and Cold performers.
