It’s Friday afternoon and that means we’re hitting you with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to help you finish off what’s left of your week with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On today’s show, we talked about the Oilers approaching Clinchmas, Mike Smith keeps shutting up the haters, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off this week’s podcast, we got started with a conversation about the Art Ross Trophy and specifically how many points it will take to wrap up the scoring lead. Seeing as Jonathan Huberdeau doesn't seem to go away, we spent a few minutes talking about whether or not there's any pressure on the Florida playmaker to get the job done. From there, we spent some time on the incredible run Mike Smith is on over his last 10 starts. Needless to say, the ol' boy is on the heater of all heaters and while we don't know how long this will go on, the important part is that we enjoy it while it's happening. That conversation led us to talk about the playoffs and who we'd prefer to face as a first round opponent. I still maintain that it doesn't matter and that the Oilers can hang with anyone, but we'll have to see how this last week plays out.  Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers to recap what was a very busy week here in Edmonton.
