Power Malu might not be a household name, but the New York native has been bubbling beneath the surface of Hip Hop culture for decades. Not only has he appeared in numerous notable Hip Hop videos, but he was also an integral part of the famed Lyricist Lounge, a Big Apple venue that blossomed into a breeding ground for storied MCs.

He's a Humanitarian, a Motivational Speaker, an Artist, an Athlete, and an Activist. Born and raised in New York City on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. I’m a strong advocate of community building and have a long history of working in music, television, and film, as a producer, consultant and on screen talent for various productions including MTV’s Lyricist Lounge Show” which starred notable talent such as Tracee Ellis Ross, Common, SnoopDogg, and Erykah Badu.  He founded “Artists Athletes Activists” as a hub to take action and create meaningful projects with brands to bring awareness to issues that deal with health, fitness, wellness, and social justice in marginalized communities.
