The Avalanche continued their franchise-record road win-streak, and they push it to nine-straight, and that’s also seven-straight wins in general.

The Red Wings didn’t put up a huge fight for the Avs, but they still only won by a score of 2-1. Hutchinson drew in for his first start with the Avs, and started his night of with a rocky start, and let in a less-than-average goal early. However, he settled in to decent form as the game went along.

The two goals for the Avs came from Namestnikov – on his first in blue and maroon – and O’Connor with his 2nd career goal. Two relatively unsuspected scorers, but that seems to be a trend for this team: when one guy is in a slump, there are at least a couple of depth players picking up the slack.

The Avs continue to roll, winning one-goal games, and providing great defensive efforts on a nightly basis. Let’s see if they can keep it going. #GoAvsGo
