Coleraine in partnership with the Hummingbird Project are hosting a major mental health awareness event at The Showgrounds this weekend.

With that in mind, the Podcast - sponsored by the Lodge Hotel - was delighted to welcome Service Development Lead of the Hummingbird Project, Jimmy McAleese, onto this week's show.

Jimmy explains the background to this weekend's #WereYouThere event where 1000 Limited Edition “Hues of Blues” flags will stand-out in the stadium in a show of solidarity for World Mental Health Day which takes place on October 10 this year.

The focus will be on football but also the importance of good mental fitness among players, officials, spectators, and many more beyond the event – all standing up to smash the stigma that still surrounds mental health.

Hosted by Damian Mullan and Johnny McNabb, the trio also reflect on the recent games against Crusaders and Bangor, as well as this weekend's clash against Glenavon.
