Off the Platform Episode 8 - Christine Henwood & Wade McLean Te Huia

This episode, Jackson and Greg are joined by the NZ winners of the GPCNZ International Push/Pull Competition that was held December 6th, both here in NZ and across Australia.

Wade McLean Te-Huia and Christine Henwood.

Both have been lifting for no more than 2 years and are already making a big impression on not only the local powerlifting scene, but also the international scene.  Christine winning the absolute masters female award at the 2019 GPC World Champs in Slovakia along with breaking numerous national and world records across a number of federations already!

Wade towering well over 6 foot and sitting at a ‘comfortable’ competition weight of 171kg (376.2lbs) has only just started his powerlifting career, and with an easy 800kg total under his belt, we’ve not seen this young guys true potential!
