Roy “The Boy” Brindley is a former professional poker player and greyhound trainer who’s lived a very interesting life, so interesting in fact that he was given a book deal to document some of the trials and tribulations of his life as a professional gambler. We talked about his life as one of the first sponsored professional poker players, his love of greyhounds and his distain for the dog racing industry. Roy is currently one of the best Formula 1 handicappers in the business and he was kind enough to give us a few tips for this weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix. In closing, we chatted about his current lawsuit against bookmaker Ladbrokes which is still a developing story and could be huge as things move forward. It was a very interesting and education conversation with a man who’s been around the block.
