It’s a big week for the NFL; there are three Thanksgiving Day games and Fairway Jay gives us his leans for all three games. He lets us know about a couple other games that stand out this weekend but before that, we talk about the recent success of the public sports bettors who have come back with a vengeance. The public bettors are doing very well since week 9, which some books have claimed to be the worst week in Las Vegas history.

In last week’s game of Beat the Cock, I sided with the Cock who comes up limp with his pick of the Chicago Bears against the San Francisco 49ers. He dropped to 7-4-1 against the spread but remains a solid 10-2 straight up picking Monday Night Football games.

This week we have a matchup between two awful teams, the disappointing Philadelphia Eagles take on the disappointing Carolina Panthers. It could be a good game but I doubt it. The Cock and I are on the opposite side of this game so next week one of us will get another notch in the win column.
