Time & Place #3 - Disneyland's Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln (2005)

Thanks for tuning into OFF HARBOR & MAIN’s Time and Place Series. In this episode we take a look at Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, but not ANY version, but rather “The Walt Disney Story Featuring Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln: The Journey to Gettysburg” aka the Civil War version or the binaural version. We start from Lincoln's 1964 New York World's Fair beginnings through today.

This entire 12-minute show was done with the use of headphones with binaural sounds to make it feel like you are actually experiencing a haircut, meet Abraham Lincoln, head into battle and see Mr. Lincoln's Gettysburg address.

'Lincoln' is hopefully an attraction Disney fans continue to cherish and hold dear to their hearts. It's a reminder of how its technological advancements have paved the way for so many more. It’s honoring and recognizing the American laborers to the development and achievements of the United States. It still speaks to today and the spirit of America as the Gettysburg address is immortal. These words remain just as powerful today as they were in Lincoln’s time.
