Ocean FM is a multi award winning local radio station that broadcasts to the Northwest of Ireland. The station covers the area of South County Donegal, North County Leitrim and County Sligo.

The current CEO of the station is Niall Delaney and the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) lists their target audience as 'being all age, socio-economic and ethnic groups across the community'. The station currently employs 22 full-time and 30 part-time staff.

Questions asked regarding return of bicycle stands to O'Connell Street

The stands had been removed when upgrade works were being carried out on O'Connell Street, but the stands were never replaced upon its completion. Sinn Fein councillor, Arthur Gibbons, says the stands need to be replaced urgently.

60 homes validated in Sligo under Croí Conaithe Scheme

North west farmers to benefit from liming extension

Further calls for restoration of Sligo Municipal Cemetery

Another call has been made for staff to be restored at Sligo Municipal Cemetery.     It was revealed last September that both members working at the Cemetery had been suspended with full pay and are yet to be reinstated.     This has caused concern to both members of the public and relatives of people that are buried there.     Local Independent Councillor, Declan Bree, says the issue must be resolved urgently.
