The Minister for Finance has been urged to postpone a scheduled hike in excise duties for fuel.
The call comes from Sligo Leitrim TD, Marian Harkin, as prices are set to increase on April 1st, and again in August.
It's thought that the planned increase will adversely affect Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal, as well as other counties close to and on the border with Northern Ireland.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Deputy Harkin says this must be stopped to help businesses and customers across the region.
