Major confusion at Bundoran polling station on voting day

There was said to be a lot of confusion at the Bundoran polling station last Friday as people cast their vote in the referendums.
Donegal, recorded the highest percentage ‘No’ vote in both referendums nationally.
80.2% voted against the proposed changes in the Family Amendment in Donegal, with just 19.8% voting ‘Yes’.
78.11% voted ‘No’ in Sligo- Leitrim.
In the Care Amendment, 83.97% of voters rejected the proposals in Donegal.
While in Sligo- Leitrim, 76.52% selected ‘No’ on their ballot paper.
However a significant number of people turned up to vote in Bundoran only to be told they weren't registered while there was also a mix up with polling card numbers.
Local Sinn Fein Cllr Michael McMahon says it's clear that the register is 'not in good shape'.
