Xbox Showcase Review

With the summer of gaming coming to a close, the Oblivious cast sit down to discuss Xbox’s July showcase. Phil Spencer and crew have set the table for what might very well be Xbox’s most important show to date, as the Series X fall launch steadily approaches.
First up, the heirs to the Halo throne have returned once again with what is hopefully their best outing yet. Master Chief has found himself back onto a halo ring, and from the outset, this looks to be a strong callback to the original game. However, some think the Chief hasn’t come dressed for the occasion.
Stopping species killing weapons isn’t the only thing up Xbox’s sleeve. With an impressive amount of new titles, Phil and company look to cater to all kinds of players. Have any of them caught our attention?
And to wrap it all up, the cast dives into the best deal in gaming -- Gamepass. Do we really want the Netflix of video games?
