Well...Episode 146 of the NYCFC Nation Podcast is 60% USMNT and 30% New York City FC. The left over 10% is excellent nonsense which I love. We discuss the recent result that the USMNT did not qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

We then go into the recent news that NYCFC's final match against the Columbus Crew SC will not be played in Yankee Stadium. Instead the match will be played at Citi Field in Queens. How does that make you feel? Well we go at length on this topic as well. We bring up other NYCFC news and wrap up previewing the next away match against the New England Revolution.

Email from New York City FC regarding stadium switch: New York City FC today announced a venue change for the Club's final regular season game on Sunday, October 22. Due to the New York Yankees advancing to the American League Championship Series (ALCS) as part of the 2017 MLB Playoffs, NYCFC's match vs. Columbus Crew SC has been relocated to Citi Field in Queens. The match will remain at 4 p.m. Due to additional preparations during the MLB Playoffs, there is insufficient time to convert Yankee Stadium should the Yankees progress beyond the ALCS to the World Series. "While we are happy for our partners, the New York Yankees, we understand that relocating a home game is a significant challenge for fans. We feel Citi Field will give our team the best chance of success on the field and provide a good environment for our incredible fans," President Jon Patricof said.
