Hello there and thank you for listening to the New York City Football Club Fan Podcast. I'm your host, Andrés Emilio Soto, a real estate agent in NYC and a season ticket holder who sits in Section 205, so come say hi! This podcast is by fans and for fans. I want you to voice your opinion, give feedback, reveal your predictions about NYCFC and to have fun while doing this. To leave a voice message that will be featured on this show visit NYCFCPodcast.com/chat. On today's show I speak with Colton Coreschi and Matt Reed recaping the 1-0 loss NYCFC had against the Portland Timbers, discuss Colton's player ratings and analyse the game further with Matt Reed.

Analysis Corner

Colton Coreschi breakdowns his player rankings and we discuss a bit more into Javier Calle's role at left back plus how he feels Kwadwo Poku is pushing his way into a  starting role and NYCFC's switch to a 4-3-3 formation. I also raise an interesting question to Colton which relates to our players skills on the field.

Recap Corner

I sit down with Matt Reed and recap the game against the Portland Timbers. We discuss certain players on NYCFC like Khiry Shelton with his attacking mentality and his unselfishness play on the field. The common theme with our defense and how we are giving up goals in the final few minutes. Shay Facey and his status.
