Today we sit down with Joseph Walker host of the Jolly Swagman podcast to discuss his recent interviews with former RBA chief economist Ian Macfarlane. His views on monetary policy in the wake of recent events unfolding before our eyes in Australia & globally are more relevant than any time in history. His insight into how central bankers think, the tools they have at their disposal & how monetary policy may have reached it limits were incredible to hear from the horses mouth. It's becoming clear that central banks are out of bullets & they are increasing putting the pressure on governments to drive economic growth through fiscal spending. All this when governments around the world are already sitting on record levels of debt.
