On this episode of Rightly Dividing, the internet landscape is filled with people preaching the word of God, ranging from right on to riotously wrong, and when you have a popular preacher who is off kilter, you can wind up in a mess real fast. I should know, back in 1991 when I first got saved, I was fooled by the false doctrine of Reformed Bible teacher Harold Camping, but the Lord had mercy on me. On tonight's rightly dividing Bible study, we will show you what wrongly dividing the Bible looks like, and how to make sure it doesn't happen to you! Last week, we showed you the importance of rightly dividing the scripture along dispensational lines, which is the God-ordained way to study the Bible. Tonight we will look at and discuss examples of many popular preachers and Bible teachers who, though sincere, are sincerely leading you into a ditch. We don't do this to be critical so much as to show you how, if you miss the mark on rightly dividing, how off your doctrine can become. A plane using autopilot on a 14-hour flight, if their calculations are off by a fraction of an inch at the outset, can miss their destination entirely. Don't let this happen to you!
