Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) condemned the use of FISA surveillance during a June 13 hearing. He said the program—meant to investigate foreign agents—was allegedly used to spy on thousands of Americans without proper cause.

Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty in a federal court in Miami on June 13 to 37 felony charges related to his handling of classified government documents. During a speech in New Jersey after his arraignment, he criticized the charges as a politically motivated attack meant to keep him out of the White House in 2024.

A new report by government watchdog Open the Books says fraudsters and dead people received hundreds of billions of dollars in government payments last year. NTD spoke with the founder of the nonprofit to find out more.
