We have a friend in Jesus. A friend is someone that will watch your back and front. Jesus is our best of friends because he knows what’s in the front and what’s in the back before it’s ever there. One day we will end up in a grave, yet we will still have a friend.
Peter saw his friend walking on the water and wanted to come to see him. He began to walk on the water and took his eyes off of his friend. Jesus simply bent down and picked him up from sinking into the water. Jesus’ arms are never too short to pick us up when we fall into our pits of life.
Jesus doesn’t talk about you, he feeds you and loves you no matter what you’re going through. Jesus is a friend that can humble you. Jesus is a friend that loves you so much that He’s willing to chastise you. If you walk around sinning and are never chastised then you’re more than likely not His friend.
