Ahead of Monday’s Drive I caught up with director, producer and writer Max Newsom for a chat about his latest movie Iceland Is Best. The film tells the story of Sigga, a 17 year-old girl trying to leave home in Iceland, and make her way to California. We talked about how the film was inspired by a chance meeting with an Icelandic woman who had an incredible story to tell, how Max and the production team made the film and what it was like filming on location in such a stunning but dangerous landscape plus lots more. Iceland is Best is out now and available to purchase or rent on DVD via iTunes and Prime Video. For a list of other streaming platforms, click here.
