Maci Matherne is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who runs the virtual nutrition practice, Flora Nutrition. She studied Psychology and Neuroscience at Tulane University in New Orleans, then completed post-grad education in nutrition through Precision Nutrition and Academy of Culinary Nutrition, and more recently, the Nutritional Therapy Association. She has also completed continued education in the gut microbiome and digestive health.

The convergence of her interests and experience in nutrition, fitness, mental health, and culinary arts, plus her own struggles with food sensitivities, anxiety, depression, and poor gut health, have guided her to this work. Using nutritious food and supplementation as tools to improve her gut health, energy levels, mood, and overall wellness has been one of the most profound journeys of her life. Her journey to healing is what has made her so passionate about guiding folks on their own path to better health. She takes a holistic, functional approach to helping clients make sustainable lifestyle changes and thrives on empowering folks to feel their best in their bodies!
