Lauren Cadillac is a registered dietitian, certified intuitive eating counselor, certified personal trainer and retired bodybuilder. She owns and operates a virtual private practice where she helps individuals from all over the world heal their relationship with food.

Rather than focusing on a number on the scale or strict food rules, Lauren takes an approach to nutrition that encourages behaviors that support physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Her client’s progress and success is measured not by weight, but instead by more relevant markers of health such as energy levels, sleep, digestion and mood. She teach my clients the Intuitive Eating framework so that they can heal their relationship with food and become the expert of their own bodies.

TW: We briefly discuss ED behaviors in this episode, if this could be triggering, please do not listen to today’s episode.

In this episode we discuss:

Lauren’s journey to becoming an intuitive eating dietitian. How body building influenced Lauren’s relationship with food and body, and the ways that ED behaviors are often promoted in the sport. How black and white thinking contributes to the food police, and how we can all have more gray area thinking when it comes to food and our health choices. Lauren’s thoughts on running an anti-diet business. How Lauren lives wellness without obsession.
