Season 11 Episode 6: Tornadoes Triumphant & Lottie Cup Underway ft Marie Kelly

We are back again with another episode and this time it's our season 11 finale! As usual, we have a guest and this week we have Marie Kelly who has had an insane start to the season. You may remember that we mentioned her incredible innings against Gloucestershire a few weeks ago when she scored 99, just missing out on a century and broke the record for the fastest women's domestic T20 half-century. Well, we obviously spoke about that but also so much more including coaching, moving to lightning, the Hundred, bowling with both arms and where she sees her career heading next. This week, we were also able to get to see some more cricket in person. On Saturday we went to Loughborough to see Lightning v Diamonds in the first round of the Charlotte Edwards Cup. We saw Lauren Winfield-Hill hit an impressive 96 and Polly even ended up interviewing England's opening batters! We chat about the end of Fairbreak, the first 2 rounds of the Charlotte Edwards Cup, the T20 Challenge squads and the amazing career of Katey Martin.
