Work to have an incredibly deep level of emotional intelligence. Success is determined by not only your ability to dream big and push yourself, but also by your resilience in the face of adversity.

The transformation that takes place when you get rid of dead weight, shed negativity, and remove the inconsequential energy or people from your life.

Never give up, and keep working hard. He tells us, “We can really do a lot of things if we push ourselves. Dream big, and just keep going.”

Leaders should show up ready to keep learning. Your studies should never end, you should always be creating new levels of insight.

Nelson is a Guyanese entrepreneur who, at 5, emigrated with his family to Queens, New York. He has lived a life of triumph and trials; his most significant moment was getting hit by a moving express subway train at age 13. Nelson miraculously survived three weeks of coma after surgeons permanently removed the top part of his forehead. Having lost all memory before that day, he has only looked forward since, unapologetically living his life aloud (as seen in Nelson's eccentric color choices with his hair and attire).

Nelson studied cultural anthropology in college and loved meeting the world as an NYC yellow taxicab and Uber driver. A defining period of his life, this is where Nelson saw a recurring issue: underserved consumers having trouble with navigating child car seats in taxis, ultimately birthing what is now known as Kidmoto.
