If an industry professional told me that the dying medium of terrestrial talk radio is being saved single-handedly by the guys of The Free Beer And Hot Wings Morning Show, I would absolutely believe them. If that professional instead told me they are single-handedly killing radio, I'd believe that too. Eternally cursed with silly names and a tricky format, Free Beer, Hot Wings, and the rest of their crew manage to bring a surprising level of talent and self-awareness to a genre that is sorely aching for more of both. I'm a fan, if you couldn't tell.

After one of their recent live shows, I got the chance to talk to Greg (Free Beer), Chris (Hot Wings), and Steve for a few minutes. The questions I asked are a bit too inside for newcomers to the show to appreciate, but it was at least fun for me, and isn't that really all that matters with podcasting anyway?

If you're interested in hearing the radio show online but you're not ready to sign up for the premium membership, you can listen on their app for free, or subscribe to the Free Beer and Hot Wings Free Clip of the Day podcast their parent company publishes on iTunes.

And if you're curious about Steve and Kyle's podcast, go here.
