Today we talk about an article by @TechCrunch about a decision from the The Norwegian Data Protection Authority to ban Meta from allowing targeted ads in the country, or face fines of up to 1M NOK (about $100,000) per day. This is significant because Norway isn't subject to GDPR regulations - so it's another country coming to the conclusion that targeted ads are bad.
