Many of us are getting ready to fill out our brackets and watch March Madness. March is truly one of the most exciting months in all of sports once the NCAA tournament starts up. I know that we are all excited for the upcoming games, but some of us need to take a moment and realize that not all college athletes and college programs got to have their season. For Jordan Lewis III, all he can do during these times is to stay focused and stay ready.

Jordan Lewis III is a Brooklyn native with basketball in his blood. His father played professionally overseas and he’s been hooping since he can even remember. He earned the nickname “Silent Assassin” on the court because he just lets his game do his talking. He grinded through the Junior College ranks and has earned a spot at a 4 year with Morrisville State. Like many others, Morrisville State did not get to participate in practices or games this season due to Covid 19. This has not stopped Lewis III from continuing to work on his game to accomplish his goals of playing high-level college basketball with aspirations to continue to play professionally. Jordan shares a little about his background, how he developed both his work ethic and love for the game, what he learned from JuCo, and the struggles that athletes are currently going through during the pandemic.

It was a joy speaking with Jordan Lewis III today. He has a great understanding of what needs to be done in order to accomplish his goals. Most coaches have told Jordan that he has all of the tools to play at the highest level of basketball... he just need his opportunity to show it and once he does you just may be hearing about the “Silent Assassin” quite a bit.

Thank You Jordan Lewis III !
