How about another TREMENDOUS Conversation episode from the loudest, proudest, and best soundin'est podcast made in the Natural State? Here's a little something special just for you and your hearing holes.

Lucas Aaron Smith is a comedian coming up in the Little Rock comedy scene, but he got his start in the entertainment business the old fashioned way - by turning tricks* as kid at the local Walmart in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Bringing smiles to the morose, weathered faces of Walmart shoppers was all the push Lucas needed to put him on course for his life's purpose: to make people laugh by any means necessary...even if that means playing a ukulele.

Lucas Aaron Smith is 100% on course and crushing it. He doesn't bust out the tiny guitar much these days because his stand-up comedy is all folx need to be doubled over with laughter.

The hours spent writing, refining, and getting on stage show. Of the dozens and dozens of times I've seen Lucas perform, this guy always delivers and has rooms erupting every time.

Listening to him on stage is always tremendous. Being able to sit down and have a long conversation with Lucas was a real treat. Now we all get to find out where all the funny comes from and how it got there.

This Conversation goes all over the place. Who makes it on to the  Mount Rushmore of Comedy? We cover that..some. We get into rating comedy clubs, sort of. There's absolutely some talk about flops on stage that stand out the most, all kinds of details of the Little Rock comedy scene, did he say 2003 or 2013?, ...look, there's a lot that gets covered. Oh, and there's going to be some fedoras, too.

Huge thank you to Lucas Aaron Smith for taking the time to talk to you, me, and we here at the Not For Prophets Stereo Podcast about what pushed him into being a stand-up comedian and what still pushes him to get even better at his craft.

If you've seen Lucas work on stage, you know. But if you've never seen him, you need to quick because Lucas Arron Smith is on his way to the top. Again, IYKYK...but if you don't, here's a little introduction.
