Marty and Nicole tackle some tough subjects this time around, so we start off with something light and fun, like giving up things you love in order to commemorate the death of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. That's right, Nicole's gonna talk about Lent, as well as alpacas and looking at smut on your phone.

Next, we get furious about poor-shaming, as Nicole rails against the "fuck you, got mine" attitudes of people who police what food stamp recipients should or should not buy.

Finally, we explore the connection between domestic abuse and mass violence with the help of Tony Lapp, co-director of Menergy, an intervention, treatment, training and education program working to stop harmful behavior and intimate partner violence.

Topics:

1:00 - Denver Chat and talking about Lent.

4:30 - Talkin' 'bout alpacas

5:50 -  EBT "Blue Apron" Boxes and the Shaming of the Poor

20:35 - Why are almost all mass shootings done by men?

31:40 - Tony Lapp interview
