In this latest episode of the Women's IP World podcast, our host Michele Katz is joined by Clare Gibson, Senior Patent Analyst at PatWorld in the UK. They discuss Clare's background, her ten-plus years in Finance, returning to university and studying Physics which led her to her current position with PatWorld. They also discuss Clare's article published in the Women's IP World Annual 2022 titled 'Does Climate Change, and its effects, differentiate between gender?'

Clare's article is about the effects of climate change and how we already see the results in our everyday lives. Clare also highlights how climate change drastically affects those in vulnerable positions, specifically those who identify as female. This aspect of the crisis has only recently been considered in summits such as the Paris Agreement and is something we should all become more aware of.

Clare Gibson is a Senior Patent Analyst at PatWorld. She has a degree in Physics from Cardiff University, which she achieved after looking for a change of direction in her career. Clare works on the Physics and Mechanical team, carrying out a wide variety of searches for companies worldwide.
