(Mar 22, 2024) Thousands of North Country high school seniors are in a stressful state of limbo right now. They're trying to make decisions about college, but they're still waiting on financial aid offers from schools. That's because of delays with the FAFSA; North Country districts are still grappling with the severe staffing shortage impacting schools across the US. Many districts are calling on retired teachers to close the gap as a short-term fix; the observatory in the Adirondacks is one of just a handful of spots in the country gathering official tape for NASA on the day of the total solar eclipse.
