There are few commands in all of Scripture more challenging to obey than this one from our Lord. How can we truly rejoice and "leap for joy" (Luke 6:23) when we are persecuted for righteousness' sake? Here are three ways:
Rejoice in what your persecutions will do for you (and others) in the present.
Rejoice in what your persecutions will do for you (and others) in eternity.
Rejoice into whose company your persecutions bring you (the prophets, the worldwide church, and Jesus Himself)
