‘Fallen Angel’ Plot Summary

Eric Stanton is a penniless drifter who finds himself stuck halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco in the small town of Walton. There he falls for a waitress named Stella. However, she won’t marry any man who can’t buy her a house, and she knows Stanton’s dead broke. Needing to make a lot of money quick, Stanton puts the con on a wealthy local girl named June, whom he plans to rob and then divorce.
