Listen in today as we interview Karen Walker, President of Oneteam, author and professional speaker. She shares with us her beginnings with Compaq computer to now, as she serves as an executive advisor, speaker, and consultant to CEOs and senior organization leaders to grow their companies successfully while being a good place to work.

On the topic of sufficient time to think and reflect she says, "You're not going to do it if you don't think it's important. Like anything else, we have too many priorities. And so if you don't understand in your core that thinking is important and that really looking at the big picture is important. You're not gonna do it. So, I really recommend getting in a rhythm around this so that you put time dedicated time on your calendar and you hold yourself accountable for taking that time to think."

She also speaks about results, accountability, and delegation. "One of my core tenants is accountability because we all have good intentions. But we really want is for our behaviors to be aligned with our intentions and despite good intentions that will not be the case without a good accountability process."
