Connie Benjamin is an international speaker and author of the upcoming book Women With Fire...6 Secrets to Purpose, Profit, and Passion. After sharing her message from the stage to thousands of people, she realized that a book was needed for women entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who are juggling life, work, and everything in between. Connie knows first hand all the guilt and frustration that many women feel as they seek to make the world a better place through their work and family endeavors. Connie discovered that it was possible to have it all, in the right time, and the right order. It was then that she began to see how she could take her life and sanity back, while creating the life that she always dreamed of.
She shares one of her defining moments: "I knew things needed to change, sitting on the couch with my husband and we were watching tv because at that point in my life that's all we did was watch tv together. And so we were watching TV and I just felt empty. I looked over at him and I felt like I didn't know him anymore. I felt like I didn't know me anymore. I just felt lost and empty and I looked over at him and I said, is this all there is?" As hard as that was, I am so grateful for that moment because in that moment we decided that this is not all there is. And that we would change it and we would take action and we would get our relationship back to where we wanted it to be after kids and no sleep and the chaos of life, we would fall in love again and we did."
