No Coast Cinema is back!

After a long hiatus while searching for a home studio, Tom Hush and Conor Cornelius are back to talk all things film.

This week, competition with MoviePass heats up following the announcement of the AMC Stubs A-List service which gives subscribers three movies a week (including premium formats like IMAX and Dolby Cinema) for $19.99 a month. Is the service worth the sticker price? Or will MoviePass reign supreme? Tom and Conor compare the two services.

Basketball legend Kobe Bryant was denied entry to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences despite winning an Oscar for Best Short Film. What led to his exclusion, and is he getting a fair deal?

Tom and Conor also talk about the future of the Star Wars franchise following the disappointing performance of “Solo: A Star Wars Story”. Does the franchise need to be saved from itself, or its fans?
