On this episode of No Brains No Headache Podcast we have guest Chris Van Vliet join us for an interview (1:03-36:55) ranging several topics. Chris is an Emmy winning TV host, YouTuber and fellow podcaster. You can check him out on social media (@ChrisVanVliet) or his podcast 'Insight with Chris Van Vliet' available on the same streaming platforms as NBNH. Chris is an accomplished guy, he "gets it" as some would say so we start the convo off with him growing up in Canada and making his way throughout the U.S. Yes, there are some Canadian accents discussed along the way and even a few impressions. We also discussed how he was named the Most Eligible Bachelor in Cleveland and the backlash that comes with that kind of thing. Not only did he cover the Oscars and the Emmys but he also stayed at the infamous Cecil Hotel which makes for a great story that all ties together somehow. We finish the interview with how he grew his fascination with professional wrestling and his side hobby Bass fishing career. Thank you so much to Chris for joining us and be sure to check out his great work! In our segments portion of the show we partake in a staple, Clearys Comments (37:00-54:37), where we banter about random things. Things get heavy out of the gate with a crunchy versus puffy Cheetos debate. Matt then mistakes dollar stores for grocery stores and gives us an update on his diet of strictly poor mans nachos. Slide right into childhood backyard games where Jordan describes his as Tip 21 meets American Gladiators. A lot to unpack. A loyal listener requested our analysis of the Devils Tower in Wyoming that Jordan visited recently and we would be damned if we didn't fulfill that request. It also leads to Matt sharing a new term, "volcano nipple". Finish up comments with judging one of the hosts wardrobes and upper decking makes yet another appearance on the show. Our last bit is the Olympics of Sports Moments (54:43-69:12). With plenty to choose from and keeping in mind the podium selections are open for interpretation you will have to buckle up for some of these picks. You may be so upset at the picks that you could end up like the NHL player who went into the stands and beat the boots off some spectator. No literally, he beat him with his own shoe...effective and innovative. The key takeaway is that we discover the powder LeBron James uses prior to tip off is actually just the dust from the bird that Randy Johnson obliterated on a March day in 2001.
