Episode 1 of the Retro Pulse podcast has arrived! Metroid for the NES won the fan vote, so Stephen and Lloyd dissect what makes this game so special. A hidden heroine, multiple endings, kickstarting what we now know as the Metroidvania genre… Metroid helped to show people why the NES was such a special console.
