Sam Harper is a former filmmaker and marine biologist turned user experience designer. A UX career coach with experience at two award-winning agencies, he is also the first-place winner at the 2019 San Diego Zoohackathon, as well as the semifinalist and project manager in the Xprize Big Ocean Button Challenge.

A person who is particularly excited by the evolution of user experience design as it relates to new technologies, especially VR/AR, voice technologies, and environmental sustainability. He is also an avid reader, podcast enthusiast, SCUBA diver, and a warm, friendly Couchsurfing host.
