Stew is the president and CEO of Stew Leonard's grocery stores, and he and his wife, Kim, are both founders of Stew Leonard III Water Safety Foundation, or “Stewie the Duck”, a non-profit that educates children and families on water safety to create a future without drowning.

Kim and Stew join the show to talk about their son, Stewie, who tragically drowned at just 21 months old in 1989. They talk with Nina about their journey to create Stewie the Duck, the opening of their new swim school, and the importance of water safety for our children.

They also discuss the development of Stew Leonard’s stores, what’s next for the brand in 2023, and much more.
