Banning Prayers at School Events

After the Prayer of Invocation was delivered by Rev. John Tamilio III as part of Canton High School’s Commencement celebration, an atheist-led group from Wisconsin caught wind of the prayer and sent a demand letter asking that it never happen again. Upon receiving the demand, Canton School Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Fischer-Muelle responded “Steps have been taken to ensure that there will be no prayers or religious rituals as a part of any school ceremonies… or any other school sponsored events.” Dan is joined by Rev.
