Australian's have this week been reassured their bodily functions are legal, and employers have no right to deny bathroom or water breaks, within reason.

The matter was brought before the Federal Court after a McDonald's franchisee claimed online that the company had no obligation to let them go to the bathroom outside of their already scheduled breaks.

Michael Byrnes of Swaab Lawyers joins John Stanley, saying the ruling would be welcome news for employees.
