Episode 78: Not Your Little Sister's Vampires

Feeling down from the cold weather and the sun setting too early in these gloomy winder months? Join John, Rich and Sister G for a lengthy talk about a somewhat forgotten but good flick, 2007's 30 Days of Night, directed by David Slade. The three praise the perfect concept for a horror film; vampires descending upon a town during a month-long polar night. The gang also digs into the animalistic and terrifying depiction of vampires, which unfortunately was superseded by those vamps that sparkle in sunlight (oddly enough David Slade directed one of those movies, a crazy fact I did not know when recording!) Other takeaways, John and Rich may be a bit too obsessed with the performance of the great character actor Ben Foster, Josh Harnett is dreamy, and lastly tractors armed with chainsaw-like weapons rule.
