NICODANI

NICODANI is a podcast series of bilingual short stories recorded live in the act of creation. Some stories are in Spanish and some in English.
The tradition of these stories was inspired by my niece and nephew, Nicole and Daniel, and started many years ago while trying to distract them from their hungry bellies on what seemed like an eternal car ride to a restaurant. For most stories, I ask them for one character, theme, or setting that they want the story to be about and begin from there.

You may hear the voice and questions of Nicole and Daniel throughout the recordings and also maybe a mix of Spanish and English in those conversations.

My deepest thanks to them for giving me the gift of story telling and to Senovia and Douglas who were the storytellers of my childhood.
