John MacKintosh

Very special guest this time, Senior NHS-R Fellow John MacKintosh, talking about drawing pretty graphs, blogging, data.table, colour palettes, and metal. Editor's note: Tom has brought to my attention that I incorrectly described "Wake up dead" as a "new" song when it does in fact date all the way back to 1986. I heard the collaboration with Lamb of God and assumed it was new. Tom has also informed me that I did in fact add the album with Wake up dead on it to {rockthemes}, which makes it doubly silly. NHS-R is all about learning and making mistakes, and I'm very happy to have made a public mistake in the spirit of NHS-R, even if it is about metal and not data science. Believe me when I say I make just as many stupid mistakes when I'm doing data science, in fact possibly even more :-)
