Kelly Angus, deputy director of human resources, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust shares her experiences of developing a successful apprenticeship programme.

Kelly talks about how working with Jobcentre Plus has helped the trust to offer apprenticeships to individuals from within the local community and discusses what works when it comes to securing commitment from across the organisation.

It also features some of Northumbria's current apprentices who give an insight into what it means to be an apprentice within the NHS.
