RICHARD “RJ” BOND has spent over seven (7) years collecting over two dozen interviews with Shakur family and friends. He has produced, directed and edited five (5) documentaries on the
life and death of Shakur, whose family appeared at the Atlanta premiere of his "Tupac: Aftermath" ("Tupac Assassination II) in 2009. The first "Assassination" picture ("Tupac Conspiracy") won the Spaghetti Junction Film Festival Award that year, and is the only documentary to be shot on the grounds of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation. He has produced several other projects (TV and Film) and can be seen the the 1997's "Titanic".
Fun fact: during his scenes on Titanic, there was a costuming issue that left RJ without his requisite gloves. "Titanic" director James Cameron improvised the fix himself by loaning RJ his own personal gloves- which RJ wore throughout the rest of the scenes.
In addition, R.J. Bond worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation on the development of the Combined DNA Indexing System (“CODIS”) software and has testified as an expert witness on computer forensics. Bond lives with his wife Athena and their children in Los Angeles. He is currently working on projects raising awareness about Autism.
