This week on the Next Shift Hockey Podcast we are joined by La Crescent, Minnesota native, former Waterloo Blackhawk, Minnesota State Maverick, NHL forward with the San Jose Sharks and current owner of Five7, Eriah Hayes.

Eriah’s path from a small town in Minnesota to the NHL and story after hanging up the skates is a special one. Back to back head and facial injuries abruptly ended his playing career at the age of 29 after playing 19 NHL games and scoring 1 NHL goal. After retiring from hockey, Eriah left his desk job and founded Five7 where he is training athletes in his hometown of La Crescent and giving back to his community. Thanks for coming on the show Eriah!! Next Shift!
