Previous Episode: "American Hustle"
Next Episode: "Respect"

After what has felt like a forever-long delay from its initial release due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 20th Century Studios is finally releasing "Free Guy" in theaters this weekend starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Joe Keery & Taika Waititi. It's been called "The Truman Show" for a new generation, and the result is an enthusiastic, fun, and surprisingly thoughtful social commentary on free will and the imaginary worlds we create for ourselves outside of the real one. That fictional world in this film is "Free City," which required creative world-building and ingenuity to bring to life on the big screen. Production Designer Ethan Tobman was kind enough to discuss his work on the film with us, which you can listen to below. Enjoy!
