The Fargo Youth Initiative (FYI) serves as an advisory body to the Fargo City Commission representing the current needs and issues of the city’s youth. It is made up of up to 20 students from 9th to 12th grade from high schools around Fargo. Abhijna Kavasseri is in the KFGO studio representing the body to talk about a contest for Fargo students to participate in. 


The City of Fargo invites local students in middle and high school to create original artwork for the chance to be featured on a local MATBUS bus for one year. The theme of the artwork should be focused on environmental stewardship and climate resiliency. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Feb. 2, at 5 p.m. Learn more here
